Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryPerforms follow-up insurance billing and collection activities on a minimum of 30 claims per day; makes collection calls, verifying accuracy and completeness of claims, contacts insurance companies and collection agencies in regard to expediting payments from various payers for physicianâ™s services. Under direct supervision, enters payment, adjustments and denial transactions received for medical billing via either paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or electronic remittance files ensuring the applicable billing deadlines are met.
