The TeamSTEPPS Program Manager is responsible for the measurable improvement and sustainment of patient safety.Â This position is responsible for the development, training, implementation, measurement, effectiveness, and success of the TeamSTEPPS program at Keck Medicine of USC. This role will help refresh any areas that have been previously trained, develop an orientation plan for onboarding employees/physicians, plan for future waves of roll out, facilitate tool building sessions and tool rollouts, and conduct rounding in rolled out areas.Â This position will be critical in helping with communication techniques and implementing hard wired safety tools for all areas of roll out and across the entire Keck Medicine of USC enterprise.
The annual base salary range for this position is $95,680 - $158,230. Minimum Education:â¢Required: Bachelorâs Degree in RN or any clinical related field of study â¢Preferred: Masterâs Degree in clinically related field of study or MDMinimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Minimum of five (5) years of clinical programs and systems implementation in a healthcare environment with at least three (3) years performing process improvement efforts to improve clinical, operational and financial performance in a healthcare organization.â¢Proven leadership success and experienceâ¢Demonstrated skills and experience in Project management â¢Ability to devise, test and deliver training materialsâ¢Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.â¢Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsâ¢Skilled in team building, communication and conflict managementâ¢Familiarity with the Lean Principlesâ¢Qualified Teamwork Skills Workshop trainerRequired License/Certification:Required:â¢Current and valid CA RN licenseâ¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date (applicable to employees working within City of LA).Preferred:â¢Or current and valid CA MD licenseâ¢LEAN or Six Sigma Certification
