The Highlights The Senior Risk Analyst supports the ongoing development and implementation of the university's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. Under the supervision of the ERM Manager, the Senior Risk Analyst implements components of the ERM program by performing risk assessments, tracking mitigation plans, developing and disseminating ERM training, guidance, and status.
Is This You?
Work closely with the ERM Manager and in alignment with department plans, carry out specific components of the university's ERM program, such as the annual risk assessments, environmental scanning, risk mitigation strategy development, and institutional training/awareness building on ERM.
Maintain the ERM risk inventory, including documentation on key risks and the mitigation strategies.
Support ERM governance activities, including organizing governance meetings, maintaining relevant university policies, and generating report material for management and trustee committees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Degree in business, accounting, finance or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance and/or internal audit required.
Experience in developing and delivering presentations.
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Designation. RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP), or certifications in audit or compliance preferred.
Other Skills & Abilities Required
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with quantitative analysis tools.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Can effectively organize and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience utilizing GRC tools preferred.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
