This is a key position requiring strong management and analytical skills for a fast-paced, multi-dimensional, not-for-profit organization with approximately $600 million in assets and an annual operating budget of approximately $90 million, encompassing the operations of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops Orchestra, Symphony Hall in Boston, and Tanglewood, the Boston Symphony’s summer home in western Massachusetts. The Controller is an influential role in the BSO organization, bringing strong organizational, problem solving and management skills to the broad spectrum of operations and projects that the Business Office team supports. Controller will model for others the ability to be detail- and deadline-oriented while having the ability to “see the big picture.”
