The VCFA serves as a key visionary and innovative member of the chancellor’s executive leadership team with responsibilities for budgetary and financial accountability, optimization of fiscal and physical resources across the university, and creating financial and administrative strategies to support and enhance institutional and strategic priorities. Reporting to the chancellor, with accountability to the executive vice president for finance and operations and chief financial officer (CFO) at the University of Missouri System (UM System), this critical role not only serves as the chief financial officer, but also shapes and drives improvements
