Support in the management of the Risk Management process across the University to facilitate identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring and communication of key risks on a continuous basis.
Support in the management of the Business Continuity Management cycle across the University in order to facilitate the ability to detect, prevent, minimize, and where necessary, deal with the impact of disruptive incidents.
Establish and strengthen existing relationships, integrating with key partners across the University for maturing the Risk Management and Business Continuity Management programs.
Provide subject matter expert advice and oversite to assist other departments with their Risk Management, Business Continuity Management.
Assist Business Continuity Coordinators and Plan Owners with Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plan reviews, updates and approvals with a focus on continual improvement, ensuring documentation is kept up to date and in compliance with policy.
Enhance supply chain resiliency by coordinating with service providers, critical suppliers and other key partners to ensure continued alignment of continuity and resilience priorities.
Management of the University’s Exercise and Testing schedule, including testing of plans and validation of existing continuity and resilience arrangements.
Evaluate and enhance Risk Management and Business Continuity Management governance documents periodically, to align with evolving University requirements.
Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards i.e. ISO 22301 & ISO 31000.
Track the implementation of the Risk Management and Business Continuity Management programs, develop and record status and prepare management reports as necessary.
Develop executive reports and presentations as necessary.
Be responsible for enhancing the current usage of the University’s Risk Management and Business Continuity Management software applications, including training of key stakeholders.
Design and deliver training and awareness for Risk Management and Business Continuity Management at the University, including Risk and Business Continuity Coordinators and Plan Owners.
Provide technical expertise to update interactive resources, to improve engagement and participation in the Risk Management and Business Continuity Management programs, including website, training videos and e-learning.
Perform other duties as requested by the Manager.
Bachelor’s degree. MBA or Master’s degree equivalent preferred.
Related industry certification with a recognized institution.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
