The Manager of Vandal Stores and Trademark/Licensing supervises four main areas including Campus Vandal Stores, Boise Vandal Store, and Starbucks. Serving on the leadership team, the position ensures the store is a self-sustaining partner and oversees managers and employees. The Manager is responsible for leading the Vandal Stores’ departments in innovation and strategic planning as well as day-to-day operations. This position will have a dotted reporting line to UI’s Chief Marketing Officer overseeing management of the university’s Trademark and Licensing program including optimization of the performance of the UI licensing program and planning and administering the protection, integrity and use of University logos and word marks. Will be asked to set up regular communications and coordination with the marketing team.

Eight or more years store management experience in big box or large retail environment and/or multi-unit;
Experience must include:
• Supervising and developing staff to meet challenges;
• Leading a team to provide outstanding customer service;
• Building collaborative relationship with various internal and external stakeholders;
• Promoting and marketing store services to multiple constituents;
• Establishing strategic goals, drive financial performance and growing sales.
