What will you be doing in this role?
As a per diem Insurance Verifier in our Imaging department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will be expected to have a high level of proficiency. The employee will ensure a timely, courteous, and professional response to the various needs of customers, physicians, co-workers, and technologists. She/he will verify eligibility and benefits electronically, telephonically or using product websites for imaging exams and procedures. Facilitates the pre-certification clearance process and makes sure that all accounts are resolved and cleared in a timely fashion. The insurance verifier should demonstrate knowledge of the revenue cycle and understands hospital and physician billing and where Imaging fits into the revenue cycle. She/he should be comfortable and able to quote imaging exam/procedure prices accurately and provides tax IDs and CPT codes.
This per diem position is primarily to cover sick, vacation and leave of absences.

High school graduate. Two years of college preferred.
