Xavier University is seeking qualified candidates for the Retail Marketing Manager for Auxiliary Services. The Retail Marketing Manager will support the mission of Auxiliary Services by developing and executing a marketing and promotion plan for all the areas that the office supports. The position is supported by a staff of talented students who participate in the team as both a co-curricular experience and as staff. This position is the liaison for the coordination and execution of business specific marketing needs of Auxiliary Services and external client partners. Works in conjunction with University brand management within the Office of University Communications to ensure brand standards are being adhered to as needed. The Retail Marketing Manager will serve as the creative and technical expert in the areas of marketing and promotion, and also as an effective team leader. The principal responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: - Manage roll out of existing marketing programs, and consistently build new initiatives to increase income/market share.
- Provide direction and oversight to third party and contract marketing staff and related marketing initiatives.
- Produce monthly client reports.
- Marketing and sales of voluntary meal plans, retention and upgrade of existing plan holders.
- Identify and clarify internal and external customer needs and expectations, taking actions to insure that departmental and customer goals are met.
- Develop marketing collateral and actively manage social media presence.
- Persistently seek fresh and innovative ideas based on customer desires and best practices.
- Manage effective communications to internal and external customers regarding all aspects of retail programs on campus.
- Responsible for management of digital signage systems related to Auxiliary Services retail operations.
- Guide the content and design of all Auxiliary Services web pages.
- Division-wide/internal communication and marketing.
