COVID Test Kit Distribution Manager - Enterprise Risk Management-0011D
: The COVID Test Kit Distribution Manager will help support Carnegie Mellon University's COVID-19 risk mitigation strategy. The Distribution Manager will supervise a large team of COVID Test Kit Distributors. You will ensure continuous testing occurs for CMU students who intend to be on campus during the fall and spring semester: living on campus, attending in-person classes or visiting CMU facilities. This is a 8 month fixed-term, full-time position which will end May 2021.
Core responsibilities include:
Manage the collection and distribution of all COVID tests to ensure testing is timely and accurate
Provide oversight to all 60+ test distributors answer questions, concerns, troubleshooting, etc.
Oversee distribution of pre-packaged COVID-19 test kits to CMU students
Works closely with appropriate party to ensure collection of COVID-19 test kits from CMU students are delivered to lab/locations
Ensuring all locations are appropriately staffed and all shifts are covered to support distribution volume
Other duties as assigned

Ability to motivate and manage performance of a large staff
Ability to stay up to date with changes regarding guidelines or procedures
Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures, as needed
The COVID tests will be distributed in a contactless environment and will not be administered by COVID test distributors during these work shifts. All COVID test distributors will be required to wear a mask during their shifts and take the CMU daily self-assessment before their assigned shifts. The working space will be set up to allow for physical distancing between students and other test distributors.
High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the following areas are required:
Supervising a large team
Experience scheduling multiple/complex shifts
Customer service experience
