The Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the University of Colorado (CU) System Office in the search for a Vice President for Advancement Administration.
Reporting to the President and collaborating closely with the Vice Chancellors for Advancement on four CU campuses and the President and CEO of the CU Foundation, the Vice President for Advancement Administration will oversee the System Office of Advancement for the University of Colorado that employs approximately 50 individuals and works to support the missions of the four separate campus Advancement offices (Anschutz Medical Campus, Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Denver) and the University of Colorado Foundation (CU Foundation), in addition to supporting presidential and university-wide philanthropic strategies in partnership with the campuses. System Advancement is also leading a university-wide technology conversion project (“NextGen”), which includes 5-10 project-based team members. The Vice President will provide management, coordination, and leadership of key service areas and departments to support the campus-based constituent engagement and fundraising teams in Annual Giving; Digital Engagement; Finance and Administration; Gift Planning; Information Technology; Marketing and Communications; Prospect Development; Research and Analytics; Records Management; Stewardship and Events; and Technology Architecture.
The Vice President for Advancement Administration will play a key role in advancing the mission of the University of Colorado by assuring that CU Advancement, in all of its parts, has the technological, financial, and human resources necessary to engage, both efficiently and effectively, an ever-growing number of university stakeholders in philanthropy. While the Vice President does not have responsibility for directly engaging with CU's donors and philanthropic partners, the Vice President will lead the System Advancement team, which is the fulcrum of CU Advancement’s operations and is thus critical to the university being able to meet its fundraising goals.
