The Office of Risk Management (ORM) is seeking candidates for the position of Insurance and Risk Analyst.Â This position plays a key role in development, implementation and evaluation of Iowa State Universityâs risk management and complex asset protection programs. Position works closely with contracted insurance broker, other Regent institutions, and third parties contracting with the university.Â The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Risk Management, Insurance and Claims Manager, University Counsel, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety and other internal departments in the development, implementation, and maintenance of new or revised policies, procedures and/or training programs designed to minimize risk and ensure campus compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have exceptional problem solving skills, strong organizational and analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication are required.Â Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals is necessary. The ability to work with and manage the work of others while overseeing and completing multiple projects with critical deadlines is also integral to the success of the position.
