Responsible for the administration and communication of all UNL Benefit and Risk Management Programs. Design and implement programs that are unique to UNL in the areas of Risk Management and Benefits.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, risk management, insurance or a related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience in any combination of the following: employment benefits, risk management and/or human resources administration. Detailed understanding or a working knowledge of the day-to-day administration of a comprehensive benefits program and/or risk management is essential. Must have strong decision making skills and the ability to work with a diverse external and internal client base.
Knowledge of risk management and benefits principles and concepts. Applicants should have excellent interpersonal, communication.
A Master’s degree in a related field is helpful. Supervisory/leadership experience helpful. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs. Knowledge of worker compensation insurance, risk transfer and/or prevention is helpful.
Certification such as Associate in Risk Management,Certified Benefits Specialist and/or other relevant designation is helpful.
