Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field and at least 3 years of grant related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of grant proposal process and grant administration. Knowledge of financial analysis and projection, accounting processes and budgeting. Experience with enterprise financial systems. Extensive understanding of related federal, state and sponsoring agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as well as the ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Demonstrated customer service and training skills. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and database query tools. Experience in report creation. Strong aptitude with systems and attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Ability to make independent judgments and to act on decisions on a daily basis. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Strong project management skills Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact collegially with individuals of different backgrounds. Preferred Qualifications: Grant related experience in higher education. Full grant life cycle management experience in a research environment.
