The Epic Managed Care Supervisor is responsible for the overall Directs the daily activity of staff. Establishes quotas for staff to reach monthly goals. Supervises workflow within designated area. Establishes procedures to ensure consistency within the work area. Responsible for accounts receivables equal to $9+ million.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Direct and monitor daily activity of all IBC staff.
Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Maintains collaborative working relationship with end users and communicates system projects, upgrades and outages appropriately.
Evaluate and distribute duties within work area.
Assist manager with establishing projections and goals.
Monitor staff performance and quality assurance.
Prepare monitor procedures for all activities.
Administer personnel policies.
Assist with or manage special projects
Interact with clinical department support staff to enhance billing processes.
Keep updated on all payor changes.Other duties as assigned.
Equivalent of Associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience, preferably in medical insurance setting with supervisory duties.
2 – 5 years of supervisory experience with the ability to communicate effectively.
Good working knowledge of third payors inclusive of state and federal agencies.
Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding.
Prior Epic experience.

The hiring range for this position is $51,272 - $65,374 annually.

This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.
