High school diploma or equivalent required.Â Graduate of a medical assistant or secretary program preferred.Â
Minimum of two yearsâ coordinator experience.Â
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and competent keyboarding is required.
Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.Â
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with strong ability to multi-task required.Â
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.Â
Customer Service skills including problem resolution and patient satisfaction required.Â

As an integrated part of the Office of Integrated Risk Management (OIRM), this position provides coordination of office flow and activities, and supports multiple staff in the OIRM department. Assists with all aspects of general office support tasks, scheduling meetings and debriefs, answering phone calls, accepting subpoenas, filing and saving documents, and other clerical duties. Other duties may include: assisting the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, managing the submission and tracking of expense reports, assisting the office staff with urgent data requests, facilitates interdepartmental communication, and comfortable in interacting with all levels of staff, physicians, and patients. Offers support in coordinating and maintaining files and data activities in an efficient, confidential manner. Provides support to the Executive Director by completing assigned projects or tasks in a timely manner and maintaining his/her meeting calendar. Able to fill in for any employee as assigned to make sure tasks are taken care of in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
