Carnegie Mellon University's department of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is searching for a Systems Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. Reporting to the Director, Risk Operations, you will provide vital support in the maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and system improvements for multiple cloud-based technology solutions.
Core responsibilities will include:
Assist in the maintenance and configuration of multiple technology services (including related hardware), including cloud-based systems;
Partner with service owners and super users to understand their needs, develop process/workflow documentation, and work with third party service providers to develop and implement requirements;
Analysis of new release documentation, making recommendations for implementation to senior management;
Answering requests, questions, and problem reports from users;
Assist in solving issues;
Develop, format, and provide reports, metrics and other data-driven documentation as needed;
Oversee and collaborate with peer organizations in testing and ongoing maintenance of emergency communications systems;
Contribute to the identification and recommendations of new and/or emerging technologies that will benefit the ERM organization; and
Participation in meetings as necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required; combination of training and experience may be considered.
Minimum one year experience as a systems analyst, or relevant experience required.
Experience with Salesforce platforms, emergency notification systems (both hardware and software) highly desired.
Familiarity with safety and compliance technologies preferred.
