Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, analytical tools (spreadsheets, report writers, databases), and productivity software. Understanding of Responsibility Center Management (RCM) and fund accounting highly desirable. Experience with Oracle/University financial systems a plus. Expertise in analyzing, reporting and presenting on complex information. Proven ability to prepare, analyze and present standard and customized financial, cash flow, activity reports and interpret financial position. Strong background in non-fund accounting, real estate, tax requirements and related financial issues. Excellent inter-personal and communications (written and oral) skills. Strong sense of accountability and stewardship for University resources. Ability to create and monitor strong control environment. Successful track record of people leadership and development. Ability to implement sound financial policies and practices with diverse constituents.
