The Assistant Dean, Finance and Operations is responsible for all aspects of the College’s complex financial operations. This position functions as the College's chief financial officer (CFO) and is responsible for managing approximately $81 million in total funds. This a limited appointment position responsible for managing College financial services that include biennial and annual budget development, implementation, and monitoring. The position interacts campus-wide with University business officers, personnel directors and managers; school/college administrators and faculty; staff, directors and affiliates of organized research units; and with the UWM Foundation.
Furthermore, the CFO is expected to exercise discretion, respect, diplomacy, and good judgment in handling difficult or sensitive situations. The Assistant Dean ensures excellence, effectiveness, and efficiency of the College’s business operations and is an active participant in campus financial strategy development. This position supervises a staff of six employees and serves as the College’s Unit Business Representative (UBR).
1. Bachelor's Degree
