New College of Florida invites applications for an opportunity in the Office of Human Resources. The college is seeking a Director of Human Resources to direct and develop operations within the Human Resources department as the college enters a period of significant growth. Must be proficient in all facets of the discipline, including appointment and contract processing, classification, compensation/payroll administration, data analysis and reporting, employee benefits, personnel record maintenance, recruitment and retention, and employee relations. This individual will serve as the lead negotiator for the administration with two of the unions representing college employees, maintain knowledge of all relevant collective bargaining contracts/agreements, and provide input and recommendations to the College administration regarding potential impact. The HR Director collaborates with the Vice President of Finance and Administration and constituents at all levels of the College building and fostering strong relationships to translate the goals and initiatives of the College into HR strategic and operational plans. The Director will make recommendations to the Vice President based on appropriate analysis and projections that anticipate risks and opportunities.
