Job Description: The Coordinator, Student Union Building Services, manages in-house and contract Custodial Services for the Joe Crowley Student Union (JCSU) and all associated outdoor areas.
The position provides oversight and administration of building services to maintain the JCSU as a community center and showcase the building for the University. The incumbent works closely with commercial retail vendors housed in the JCSU and provides oversight and supervision to all assigned custodial staff and student employees to ensure compliance with University and JCSU policies and procedures. The position is responsible for coordinating with JCSU administrators to carry out strategic planning and must be available to work a flexible work schedule for emergency and crisis situations during night and weekend hours. The Coordinator reports to the Associate Director.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and two years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree and one year of relevant experience. Relevant experience: In custodial services and/or facility management Schedule Requirements: • Work nights or weekends to respond to emergency and crisis situations
Preferred Qualifications: Student Union experience, experience supervising custodial staff and student employees, understanding of facility operations and maintenance, experience working with contractors and minor renovation projects.
