The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applications for a Budget Director. The Director performs extensive budget formulation and budget execution duties for a budget of over 1,000 different accounts totaling approximately $120 million. Funding sources include but are not limited to: the General Fund, Athletics, Foundation support, and Auxiliary Services. Prepares the annual operating budget that reflects the strategic direction of the college and the current fiscal environment. Prepares all Citadel budget reports required by the State in the preparation of the Governor’s Executive Budget. Reporting to the VP for Finance and Business, the Budget Director must proactively engage with senior leadership across the campus to include Vice Presidents, Academic Deans, and their supporting staff.
Must have a Master's degree in Business (or similar coursework) and at least five (5) years of higher education budgeting or finance experience.
Experiencing in multi-year budgeting and forecasting.
