The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications for an Endowed Professor of Risk Management beginning in Fall 2017. Rank (Associate or, preferably, Full Professor) will be based upon qualifications and experience.
We seek applicants with an earned doctorate in risk management and/or insurance, finance, economics, or closely related areas and an enduring and continuing record of publications in top risk management and insurance journals. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the MBA, EMBA, MSF and undergraduate levels, be able to contribute to the future growth of the department and school, establish new and nurture existing relationships with external constituencies, and interact effectively with members of the local business community. Salary and benefits will be competitive with those at leading business schools and support for conducting research and for professional development will be provided.

This is a full-time, tenured, benefit eligible position.
Salary is commensurate upon experience.
