Rider University invites applications for a Grants and Restricted Funds Manager in our Finance Division. Reporting to the Associate Controller, this individual is involved in the proposal preparation, awarding, expending and reimbursing of governmental grants funds. The Grants and Restricted Funds Manager is integral to the management of the grants/contracts/gifts and ensuring compliance with Federal, State and private requirements; and provides accurate reporting of grant/contract/gift expenditures to internal and external constituents.

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree, Accounting preferred or equivalent experience in grants management/accounting, with a minimum of five years accounting experience, preferably in higher education. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal, time management, attention to detail, organizational, analytical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, as well as be adept in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with Banner and Cognos preferred.
