Seeking experienced business management or finance professional to provide strategic financial direction for Purdue's College of Veterinary Medicine, whose annual budgeted expenditures total over $59 million and whose total staff exceeds 450 FTE. Will partner with Deans, Directors, Department Heads, and other senior leadership across the University regarding financial objectives and business operations to help drive the initiatives of the college. Specific essential functions include:
Serving as a key liaison and financial advisor to Deans, Directors, faculty, and staff concerning business-related activities for the College.
Creating and providing financial analysis and projections for present and upcoming fiscal periods, in consultation with Deans and Associate Deans.
Authorizing and approving business activities and financial transactions.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and taking action to ensure efficient and effective business management.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related.
Three years' experience in high-level business administration, financial management or related.
Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, leadership, budgeting, financial analysis, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and customer service skills.
Ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels.
Ability to analyze, interpret and implement University policies and procedures.
Ability to foster a participatory supervisory style that utilizes collaboration and teamwork to successfully guide the work of others.
Learning orientation toward changing technology impacting business processes.
Proficient in following software: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Six credit hours of successfully completed accounting coursework.
