Job Description The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a full-time Associate Director, Retail and Finance Operations for the Joe Crowley Student Union. The Associate Director, Retail and Finance Operations is a key member of the senior management team who works closely with and reports to the Director of the Student Union. The incumbent is responsible for the financial management, retail management, campus catering oversight, human capital management, and audit compliance of the Student Union. The person directly supervises faculty, classified staff, and graduate students and has oversight for 180+ student employees. This individual develops, and administers the multi-million dollar operating budget, and the capital improvement fund, event management and retail tenant revenues for the Student Union. The position provides stewardship to the student fees and all revenues to ensure the Student Union is effective, efficient and meets the needs of the overall programs and operations. This person monitors contractual obligations of the commercial retail tenants as well as develops fees and rental structures for these entities. The incumbent is responsible for the business decisions concerning the Student Union in the absence of the Director.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and five years or a Master's Degree and three years of related professional experience. Related Experience: Experience in retail tenant operations, human capital management and fiscal management; experience in supervision and training.
Preferred Qualifications Strong background in retail/tenant management and understanding of finance and human resources in an university setting.
Schedule or Travel Requirements Evening and weekend work is required.
Compensation Grade Grade C Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
