The Dean, Business Affairs manages an appropriate system of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted principles and NACUBO standards. Directs all activities regarding upkeep and maintenance of physical plant, buildings, grounds, new construction, food service/vending operations, bookstore operations, auxiliary services, courier services, communication services, and Information Technology Services. Other duties include coordination and supervision of the College transportation, safety and security, and printing/duplications.

SALARY: Based on education and experience commensurate with Salary Schedule B (range: $85,794 - $118,483).
ANTICIPATED START DATE: April 23, 2018
The position will be based initially at the Wallace Campus in Dothan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SCREENING PROCESS:
A Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
In lieu of a Master's degree, a CPA with seven (7) years' experience of progressive responsibility in business operations, supervision, and/or management will be considered. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of public institutional and/or governmental accounting experience is required. 3. A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience to include the evaluation of personnel is required. 4. Ability to work nonstandard hours is required. 5. Ability to travel is required.
ADVISORY COMMITTEE: The President will appoint an Advisory Committee to include representatives of the College faculty and staff. This committee will employ appropriate procedures, including the review of application packets, interview, and demonstration of competency, to determine which applicants are to be recommended to the President for further consideration. From all the applications received, an advisory committee will select the applicants to be interviewed. All initial interviews will be conducted in person and applicants must travel at their own expense.
