General Statement of Duties: The Manager of Internal Controls and Risk Assessment is responsible for primary functions related to fostering a control environment, process documentation and analysis, and transaction compliance reviews. The Manager, with oversight by the AVPFA, will lead the campus in establishing, implementing, assessing and documenting internal controls. This will require analyzing processes, identifying risks, and recommending key controls to mitigate risk. This function assists supervisors and managers in keeping process documentation and policy up to date. In addition to documenting and analyzing processes, the Manager is responsible for risk based transactional reviews, and working with the Director of Budget, Planning and Policy Development in supporting the Administrative Policy process and the archiving of approved policy.
