FATV is looking for a motivated, high performing Director of Partners - Higher Education. We believe that a successful sales team makes connections with its clients and creates long-lasting relationships. We’re looking for a self-starting, individual contributor with a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will look forward to building relationships with schools while boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition and profitability. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
Engage successfully with diverse/challenging personalities and bureaucracies
Grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
Build new client relationships and quickly develop trust from C-level executives to mid level managers
Conduct outstanding demonstrations, presentations, and webinars
Represent FATV at state?based, regional, and national Conferences
Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
Effectively communicate the company's value prop, technology, and process
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports
Recommend changes in products, service, and policy based on prospective client feedback and competitive developments
Experience in the Higher Education Sales a significant plus
Preference for BA or BS in Business Administration or related field
Seven or more years experience in Higher Education Sales in direct or outside sales
Experience with leveraging a CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) to guide day-to-day activities and sales pipeline management.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills required for identifying client needs, developing solutions, and logically organizing complex information.
Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively and confidently over phone, e-mail and in face-to-face appointments and group presentations.
Experience working from a home office, and in a team environment
Detailed, organized and efficient with the ability to self-?manage
Ability to assess and re-assess priorities multiple times within a given day
Must see every challenge as an opportunity
Must not be satisfied with the status quo, as we are striving always to improve
Comfortable working within online programs such as Google Docs and Apps, BaseCamp (or similar project management software), and in the technology field broadly
Knowledgeable about social media and new media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
